Transferring your Dog Registration
If you or your dog move to another area, you need to inform both Auckland City Council and the council in your new area within six weeks.
Please supply the following information in writing to Dog Registration, Auckland City Council:
your name
your dog\'s registration disc number (you\'ll receive a new one)
your old and new addresses
your daytime phone number
the date you moved or expect to move.
Moving into Auckland city
If you and your dog have moved into the Auckland City Council area, you can transfer your dog\'s registration (provided it is current) for no charge. Let us know by:
completing a Change of address/transfer form (44Kb PDF), enclose your dog\'s disc and send it to Dog Registration, Auckland City Council or
drop it off at any Auckland City service centre.
If you are transferring the registration during registration time, starting 1 July each year, you will also need to register your dog for the coming year. For More Info: aucklandcity.govt.nz
