Tea Cup Chihuahua Dog Pet Store
HUNTINGTON BEACH The owner of a Main Street pet store is hoping to find the woman who walked out with a $2,000 designer chihuahua.
A store employee brought the dog for the woman to see Tuesday, and when he turned his back, the woman left with the dog, said August Court, co-owner of Pets, Pets, Pets.
The \"tea cup\" puppy is 1.7 pounds with a black and tan coat and looks like a miniature Doberman Pincher.
\"We miss him very much and hope someone knows what happened to him and can help us bring him back,\" said co-owner Donald Foster.
Court contacted the Huntington Beach police and Animal Control officials but there has been no word of the dog\'s location. The dog was microchipped.
This is the first time the store has had a dog stolen in six years, he said.
Court described the woman as 18 to 23 years old and \"really friendly.\'\'
\"Just looked like a regular, everyday person,\'\' he said. Someone you wouldn\'t suspect.\"
Anyone with information about the stolen puppy can contact Pets, Pets, Pets at 714-848-5859.
