Sunflower Cluster Dog Show
The Sunflower Cluster Dog Show continues today and Sunday at the Kansas Coliseum, 85th Street North off I-135.
Events start about 8 a.m. and will include conformation, obedience, agility, herding, lure coursing and rally.
Wichita Kennel Club members will conduct tours at 1, 2 and 3 p.m. today. Sign up at the catalog desk or Kids Corner.
Also today, starting at 5 p.m., young people ages 10 to 18 will compete for scholarship money in the finals of the Central Region Top Junior Handler Competition.
The 22nd annual Art Show at the Dog Show, an international juried fine arts show, will have more than 180 works of art featuring dogs on display from about 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Most of the art is available for purchase.
Admission to all events is free. Dogs not entered in the show are not allowed, and strollers are discouraged.
