Pedigree Training Treats launch

Pedigree Training Treats are endorsed by Mary Ray, one of the world’s leading dog trainers, as being the perfect dog training treat.

The launch of Pedigree Training Treats will be supported by a marketing spend of over £300,000.

The investment will be used to promote Training Treats via in-store activity, online and through a specially targeted ongoing sampling campaign at training schools across the UK. Mary Ray will also form the centre piece of a consumer PR campaign.

Pedigree is the number one brand in the Snacks and Treats category accounting for 50% of the value share. Last year, Pedigree saw 18% growth within the S&Ts category through ongoing innovation and continued strength of established sub-brands.

“We are very excited about the launch of Pedigree Training Treats as they will offer consumers an opportunity to treat their dogs whilst enhancing their agility and training skills. We had a great response to the treats at Crufts where we completely sold out and Mary Ray’s demonstrations on the Pedigree stand were a big hit.
