Doberman training basics

This site will give you the basics of training a Doberman. It is essential for you, as the owner and responsibility to train your Doberman. If it is not done or not done properly the character of your doberman will be harshly tarnished. If not done, your doberman may be too aggressive.

A doberman must be constantly socialized, because it is instinct for them to be protective of you and there territory. As this may be a good thing, it must be controlled to a certain extent. Also, if your Doberman is not trained properly it may turn out to be completely the opposite. It would be fragile and afriad of people and or dogs. But, if trained the right way then your doberman will turn out to be your best and loyal friend.

First of, you want to train your doberman as a puppy. Like any other dog the puppy stage is the ideal time to train your pet. For your doberman to be able to be friendly it must be socialized. You can do this by taking it to dog parks, beaches, or petsmart. This part is essential, if your doberman is not properly socialized it can become over protective and aggressive to unknown people/dogs.

When your doberman is ready to accept other dogs company and human company you can begin to train with people around you. Besides the normal commands of basic training, dobermans must go through other training processes. Because there activly aware of there surroundings they tend to observe everything and not pay attention to there commands there owner has spoken. In order to mend that problem you must train your doberman in a busy atmosphere. Like a park or a beach, something with much commotion.
