Dandie Dinmont Terrier is a schnauzer or fox terrier
The Dandie Dinmont Terrier has no straight lines, as say a schnauzer or or fox terrier does. They are all curves and proud of it...Their heads have a curvy shape, their backs sway slightly, the have big, round eyes...even their tails curl! Not only that, they are less aggressive and temperamental than \"typical\" terriers, but this by no means makes them pushovers! They aren\'t feisty by nature and it takes a lot to get them upset, but they will certainly defend themselves fervently when needed. Also, being that they are very loyal to their family unit, they are great guard dogs as well.
They don\'t cling to any one member of the household; instead, they prefer to be a part of the entire family, like dogs behave in a pack. They seem quite non-threatening, but actually possess rather large teeth for the size of their breed, and boast a loud, very deep bark. Being well rounded as they are, they are wonderful with children, other dogs, and other pets. They adapt well to apartment living right up through country living. Easy to please, they\'ll enjoy a short walk around the block or a full day of exercise.
