Cheektowaga Police seeking a lab-american bull dog
A reward is now being offered for information that leads to the dog that may have attacked a young girl in Cheektowaga.
Daryl Warden says the money will be given to the person who leads police to the dog by Thursday night. Police say if the animal is not found, Brianna, 2, will undergo rabies vaccinations.
Today, the dog's owner told News 4 his pet did not visciously attack the girl.
Paul Cronan, "The dog jumped up and his nails jumped on her. As the mother said herself, the child was pinned against the wall. Now how could she be pinned against the wall and the dog biting at the same time when the owner was right there, I had him by the mouth."
Cronan says he gave his yellow lab-american bull dog mix to an acquaintance. Anyone with information is asked to call Cheektowaga Police. Read More
